What you will do

Hop on board a kayak and enjoy a unique experience between Bacoli and Miseno with a route along the historic Costa Flegrea

 

 

 

Cradled by the waves of the sea and the cool sea breeze you will experience a historical-naturalistic excursion, with expert guides who will tell you anecdotes about the history of Miseno, the most important Roman military site in the area in the Augustan age and housed the first imperial fleet:the Classis Praetoria Misenensis.

The route is full of suggestive places to explore: caves, coves, natural arches, beaches and hidden coves such as the famous natural pool "Schiacchetiello".

 

 

Last and well worth a stop will be a small beach that will give you the opportunity to relax, take a bath and enjoy an aperitif of local wine and tasty Neapolitan appetizers.

  • 9:30 reception and registration participants
  • 10:00 am introduction to the excursion and instructions on the use of the kayak and paddle
  • 10:20 am start guided kayak tour
  • Visit to the ruins of the ancient Miseno Theatre
  • Visit the Sulfur Mountain
  • Visit Punta Penna and "Scacchietiello"

 

**Depending on the sea the following stages may vary:

 

a) Poggio beach and stop at Marina Grande beach.

 

  • Explanation of the Tomb of Agrippina
  • Bathroom and aperitif included

 

b) Circumnavigation of Punta Pennata and landing on the Green Beach (accessible only by sea)

 

 

AFTERNOON PROGRAM WITH SUNSET

 

  • 17:30 reception and registration participants
  • 18:00 introduction to the excursion and instructions on the use of the kayak and paddle
  • 18:20 start guided tour by kayak
  • Visit to the ruins of the ancient Miseno Theatre
  • Visit the Sulfur Mountain
  • Visit Punta Penna and "Scacchietiello"

 

**Depending on the sea the following stages may vary:
