What you will do
Enjoy an authentic sea sport fishing experience departing from the port of Miseno, near Bacoli, in the heart of the Phlegraean Coast. Accompanied by a professional angler, you will receive a brief introduction to the techniques used before setting sail in the waters of the Gulf of Naples and the Tyrrhenian Sea.
At dawn, you will head out to sea, surrounded by its tranquillity and the enchanting scenery of the Campania coastline. Depending on the season, sea conditions and species present, you can try different sport fishing techniques, such as tuna drifting, offshore trolling, deep-sea bottom fishing or giant squid fishing.
The angler will select the most suitable technique and guide you in using the equipment, making the experience engaging even for those trying offshore fishing for the first time. Depending on the season, you may encounter bluefin tuna, mahi-mahi, swordfish, Mediterranean spearfish, giant squid and other Mediterranean species.
While waiting for a bite, you can relax on board and enjoy an aperitif with a drink on the boat, admiring the colours of the sea and the outline of the coastline on the horizon.

TYPES OF FISHING
- Tuna drifting, available all year round: an offshore fishing technique in which the boat drifts slowly with the current while the bait is kept at different depths to target tuna;
- Offshore trolling, available during the summer: a dynamic fishing technique performed while the boat is moving, towing natural or artificial bait in search of large pelagic predators;
- Deep-sea bottom fishing, available all year round: a technique performed with the boat stationary or drifting slowly, lowering lines and bait towards deeper seabeds to reach the species that inhabit them;
- Giant squid fishing, available all year round: a targeted fishing trip in deep waters using specific lures to locate and catch the large cephalopods of the Mediterranean.
