What you will do

Live a unique experience as a cheesemaker in a traditional dairy in Vico Equense with an interesting cheese workshop, in the beautiful Sorrento Peninsula!

 

Discover the art of dairy production in the Lattari Mountains, guided by Antonio, a young master cheesemaker and guardian of the ancient family tradition. Learn the secrets of typical cheeses, from butter to the famous Provolone del Monaco, at a small artisanal dairy farm.

 

Begin your journey in the spinning room, where, under Antonio's expert guidance, you will make bocconcini, caciocavallo and the renowned “fior di latte” mozzarella, the dairy's signature product. You will have the opportunity to get your hands in the dough, actively participating in the production. At the end of the experience, a tasting of the fresh and aged cheeses awaits you, accompanied by a glass of local wine. Don't miss this opportunity to discover the authentic roots of Campania's dairy tradition.

TASTING

The tasting includes farm products that vary according to the availability of the period. Accompanying you can enjoy cured meats, homemade bread and small appetizers from the area with a glass of local red wine. In summer periods it will be held on the outdoor patio and in winter periods in the indoor dining room.

 

A Coca-Cola will be offered for those under the age of 18.
