What you will do

Discover wine from its roots with a natural wine tasting in Castelvenere, in the heart of the Benevento area of Sannio. Guided directly by the winemaker, you will explore an estate where ancient local grape varieties coexist according to the principles of regenerative agriculture, among naturally growing espalier-trained vines, living soils and minimal intervention.

 

During the vineyard and cellar tour, Raffaello and his family will welcome you and guide you through the estate, immediately making you feel part of a warm, authentic and welcoming family environment. Through their stories, you will learn about the history of the winery and understand how plants, microorganisms and wild herbs contribute to the vitality of the wine. You will visit the two areas dedicated to production and ageing, learning more about fermentation, maceration and the principles of natural winemaking in Sannio, practised without additives or invasive technologies.

 

The experience ends with a tasting of either 4 or 7 wines, mainly produced from blends of rediscovered ancient grape varieties, as well as single-varietal Agostinella and Camaiola wines. Each glass will be paired with a selection of local products, allowing you to savour the authentic connection between wine and its territory. You can choose between:

  • Standard option: 4 wines, accompanied by cured meats, cheeses, baked goods and other local specialities.
  • Premium option: 7 wines, consisting of 6 labels plus a surprise wine, accompanied by cured meats, cheeses, baked goods, olive oil and other local specialities.

The wines are mainly produced from blends of rediscovered ancient grape varieties. The winery also produces single-varietal wines from Agostinella and Camaiola grapes.

TASTING FOR CHILDREN 

The option for minors includes the same food tastings provided for adults, accompanied by water. Wine consumption is reserved exclusively for adults.
