What you will do

Discover a unique horseback excursion along the Sorrento Coast, designed for those seeking an adventurous and panoramic experience. Accompanied by qualified equestrian guides affiliated with SEF Italia, you will ride through authentic landscapes, nature trails, and spectacular views opening onto the sea and the hills of Massa Lubrense, in the heart of Campania.

An experience ideal for those with confidence in horseback riding, but also accessible to beginners with a minimum of physical endurance.

Starting from Sant’Agata sui Due Golfi, you will cross ancient villages until reaching a panoramic viewpoint with stunning views of Capri, Li Galli, and the Salerno Coast. From there, the ride continues through olive groves and trails up to the Pineta Le Tore, the highest panoramic point of Sorrento, from where you can admire breathtaking views of Vesuvius, the Gulf of Naples, and the islands of Capri, Ischia, and Procida.

You will continue through vineyards and cultivated fields to a nature trail leading to the Pizzitiello promontory, the highest part of the Sentiero delle Sirenuse. From its panoramic point, you can admire the Faraglioni of Capri, Monte San Costanzo, Tre Pizzi, and the Bay of Ieranto. You will also see the island of Li Galli and the Isca Rock, with Positano and the beginning of the Amalfi Coast behind you: a 360° landscape, suspended between sea and mountains.

You will live an intense horseback ride, enriched by photo stops at the most evocative points, before returning through the pine forest.

WEATHER CONDITIONS

In case of light rain, the experience will not be canceled; you will be provided with a rain jacket or poncho to enjoy the ride in comfort and safety.

ROUTE TYPE

Medium difficulty route, with more challenging sections due to duration and elevation changes. Recommended for those with good confidence with horses, but also suitable for beginners with good physical fitness and adventurous spirit to face the 3-hour excursion. The guides will make the experience flexible, planning additional stops if necessary.

PETS ALLOWED

Pets are allowed in this experience and can remain inside the Ranch, provided they are kept on a leash and under the supervision of their owner.

HOW TO REACH THE RIDING STABLE

The riding stable can also be reached by public transport.

  • The area is served by SitaSud regional buses with frequent departures.
  • The main stop is in the center of Sant’Agata, just a few minutes’ walk from the starting point of the experience.
  • The distance from Sorrento is about 10 km (20/30 minutes by bus). From Sorrento station, SitaSud buses depart towards the main destinations of the Sorrento Peninsula and the Amalfi Coast, up to Positano and Amalfi.
