What you will do

Experience a mountain bike excursion in Capaccio Paestum, in the heart of the Cilento National Park, along the trails of Monte Soprano, the Sanctuary of Madonna del Granato and the Temples of Paestum. A tour designed for those with their own bike who want a guided ride through unspoiled nature, breathtaking views, and archaeological heritage. Guided by Ivan, an expert local MTB guide, you'll follow a loop trail that combines adrenaline and authentic beauty. The first stop is the sanctuary overlooking the Sele plain, ideal for a scenic pause. Then the adventure begins: a dirt track cuts through mastic trees, holm oaks, cypresses, and other Mediterranean scents, in a truly wild and quiet setting, far from mass tourism. After the most intense stretch, the tour ends in Paestum, among the iconic Greek temples that dominate the landscape and tell a thousand-year-old story.

  • This excursion is designed exclusively for bikers with their own MTB and a moderate level of physical fitness, capable of handling technical sections and moderate elevation gains.
  • The itinerary may be adjusted based on weather conditions, trail status, and group pace.

VISIT TO THE TEMPLES OF PAESTUM

The visit to the Temples of Paestum is optional and not included in the excursion fee. In agreement with the guide, it is possible to end the tour near the archaeological park and continue the visit independently, purchasing the entrance ticket on-site.
