Live an exciting guided hike to discover Mount Taburno, in the heart of the Taburno Camposauro Regional Park, in the province of Benevento.
Accompanied by a young and experienced AIGAE Environmental Guide, you will start from the Abetina del Taburno, an area rich in biodiversity. You will walk along a dirt path that crosses the historic Forest of the King, famous for its mixed woods of Beech, Norway Spruce, and White Fir. The path will lead you to the Pianoro di Piano Melaino (1152m), a vast panoramic area where, depending on the season, you may spot herds of horses and cattle grazing in a place of great historical and environmental value.
You will continue to Quattro Vie, a scenic spot in the heart of the beech forest, where you can stop for a coffee and enjoy a breathtaking view that stretches from the Partenio Regional Park to the Matese Regional Park, with Valle Caudina and the Caserta area in the background.
The final stop will take you to the summit of Mount Taburno, where you can relax and have your packed lunch.
