What you will do

Live an authentic grape harvest experience in Torrecuso, in the heart of the Sannio Beneventano, one of the most renowned wine-growing areas in Campania. A full day dedicated to discovering local farming traditions and wine production, among vineyards, chestnut vats, and genuine flavors.

Accompanied by local experts, you will take part in the manual grape harvest, learn to recognize the stages of the vine’s cycle, and experience the most exciting moment: barefoot grape stomping in wooden vats, just like in the old days. Afterwards, enjoy a rustic aperitif among the vines, with a tasting of Falanghina del Sannio DOP, for a well-deserved moment of relaxation.

The day continues with a technical visit to the winery, where you will discover all the stages of winemaking, from grape to wine, among barrels, amphorae, and rich aromas. To conclude, a typical lunch in the barrel cellar, paired with the winery's wines, to celebrate the taste and authenticity of the grape harvest.

GRAPE HARVEST EXPERIENCE

  • During the grape harvest phase, dedicated to the manual picking of the estate’s grapes, scissors and gloves will be provided to ensure safety and proper execution. This is an educational activity that does not involve significant physical effort or the use of agricultural machinery.
  • Due to the potential presence of damp or uneven ground in the vineyard, appropriate footwear or a change of shoes is strongly recommended.
  • The grape harvest experience is available from September 26 to October 20, by reservation only.

BAREFOOT GRAPE STOMPING

Participants who choose to take part in this typical practice will step into wooden vats filled with freshly picked grapes and, by rapidly moving their legs and feet, crush the grapes while enjoying laughter and the scent of fresh must.

LUNCH IN THE BARREL CELLAR AND WINE PAIRING

Lunch will take place in the winery’s charming barrel cellar and includes three courses (starter, first course, and second course), paired with two wines of your choice from the following:

  • Red wines: Aglianico del Taburno DOCG, Piedirosso Sannio DOP
  • Rosé: Aglianico del Taburno DOCG Rosato
  • White wines: Falanghina del Sannio DOP Taburno, Coda di Volpe del Sannio DOP Taburno
