What you will do

Explore Mount Vesuvius by e-bike and enjoy a unique experience through volcanic landscapes and unspoiled nature. Ride independently along the historic Matrone road, starting from Trecase, and reach the National Park of Vesuvius up to the viewpoint at 1050 meters.

From there, you can hike to the Gran Cono and admire the majestic crater. The 8 km route starts paved, then becomes a smooth dirt path surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation and silence.

Along the way, enjoy the view of Punta Nasone, the highest peak of Monte Somma, and look up to see the impressive wall of the Sterminator Vesevo, symbol of Naples and Campania.

If you prefer, request the local guide service for support during your ride.

YOUR EXPERIENCE IN BRIEF

  • Departure from the meeting point in Boscotrecase (NA) (at 8:30; 10:00 or other times upon request)
  • Self-guided (or with guide) e-bike tour along Matrone road up to 1050 meters above sea level
  • Parking for e-bikes and a walking route of about 3 km
  • Access to the Gran Cono of Vesuvius
  • Return to Boscotrecase (NA) on foot and by e-bike

IMPORTANT

The experience is not suitable for pregnant women.

TYPE OF BIKE

The experience includes the use of comfortable pedal-assist e-bikes, ideal for tackling elevation gain with ease, even for less experienced riders. The bikes are suitable for both paved and unpaved roads, and come with an adjustable saddle and helmet included.

CHILDREN

Child-sized e-bikes are not available. Children up to 20 kg can be supported.

GUIDE SERVICE

During the purchase process, you can add the "guide" service. With this option, you will have a local expert who will accompany you throughout the excursion and provide support during the activities.

EXCLUSIVE TOUR

The proposed experience can also be requested exclusively on dates not present in the calendar, upon independent booking of the entrance ticket to the Vesuvio National Park.
